What to know about Estelle Bakery
The owner Ms. Esther Son is the creative force behind Estelle a French-style bakery that opened on January 22, 2018. And Yes! Estelle is a play off the name of the owner. They serve decadent macarons, artisan breads, pastries, flaky croixnuts (croissant doughnuts), baguette sandwiches, and tarts.
“I feel really excited about that spot,” Son says. “The design is really beautiful—modern but still classic—and it’s what I’ve been envisioning all along.”
For French-inspired baked goods in Sacramento, Estelle’s Patisserie is where you want to be. Esther Son says that all her life, even when she was in business school and doing other things, she always knew that one day she’d own a bakery.
A lifelong obsession with sweets led to a decade of planning, studying, traveling, and reading up about pastries before she opened her shop in downtown Sacramento.
At Estelle’s, Esther works in tandem with her staff of professional bakers, meshing her own ideas with their experience to develop French-inspired baked goods, breads, and sweets.
Her mission is to bring authentic, affordable, and delicious pastries to Sacramento, so locals don’t need to travel to Napa California or to France to enjoy top quality French goods.
